Customer Terms and Conditions

(a) Qualifying Rounds in Casino

  1. Participating casinos are the “London Grosvenor clubs”, which includes The Barracuda, Gloucester Road, Golden Horseshoe, The Park Tower, Piccadilly, Russell Square, St Giles and The Victoria
  2. The times for the qualifying sessions are between 8pm and midnight – individual clubs can arrange additional qualifying sessions outside of these times at their convenience. The last time a qualifying round can begin is 2am per gaming day between the 21st April and the 11th May 2015.
  3. The qualifying sessions finish on Monday 11th May 2015 when the midnight session is concluded (and no later than 2am). No further sessions will be held. There will be as many qualifying rounds per session as demand dictates to allow all customers the chance to take part
  1. Entry fee is £25 paid at the tournament table
  2. Each player is given 1000 points in tournament chips
  3. No side bet such as 21+3, Top 3 or perfect pairs are permitted
  4. Normal Blackjack rules apply – Blackjacks will be paid as normal but rounded up to the nearest whole chip
  5. The tournament betting limits will be 25 minimum points; there will be no maximum. Players can go all in at any stage. Bets will be placed in multiples of 25 points.
  6. Each qualifying round will consist of 14 hands, this is not dependent on the number of players at the table
  7. When a player loses their chips, they have the option to re-buy. Each player may re-buy prior to the commencement of the 8th hand only.
  8. Players must play every hand if they have chips left – no sitting out of hands
  9. All tournament chips are to be kept in full view of all players at all times
  10. When that 8th hand starts the option to buy-in is terminated.
  11. At the conclusion of the qualifying round any remaining player’s chips will be totalled and this will be their score
  12. All top scores are recorded on a leader board and the accumulated scores on a league table in each individual club
  13. All entrants in club mayenter as many qualifying sessions as they choose. The fee is £25 to be paid to the dealer but only their highest score will be taken into account unless they are accumulating scores for the club league which will run alongside the top scores as an alternative way to qualify.
  14. Semi-finals and final table to be held on Finals night
  15. In the event of a tie for the 3rd place qualifying position, 7 tie-break hands will be played, the players will be given 1000 points each and the person with the highest points score at the end of the 7 hands will be declared the 3rd The rules will be the same as for the qualifying rounds but there will be no re-buys. All tie breaks to be held on the 12th May 2015 at 9pm. If any player is unable to attend the tie-break the player will forfeit their opportunity to qualify.
  16. No refund will be made to any player who is disqualified from the competition for whatever reason or barred for whatever reason from entering the participating casinos. It is the individual players responsibility to ensure they will be allowed entry to Grosvenor Casino The Victoria for finals night should they qualify
  17. All decisions made by the Promoter are final.
  1. The seating arrangements will be determined via random draw before play commences – button will start at seat 1 and then move one player clockwise at the end of each hand
  2. Cards will be dealt from the button position ensuring fair distribution of players taking last box
  3. Bets are placed in order from the button, box by box and once placed cannot be changed
  4. Players can only play ONE box each – no playing behind other players
  5. No coaching from any spectators is allowed
  1. All hands to be dealt via hand shuffle
  1. Players can only re-buy when they have half their starting points or less – e.g. 500 points or less
  2. Re-buys must be bought in-between hands – no re-buys allowed whilst cards are out
  3. Cost of re-buy is £25. Every re-buy is 1000 points
  1. Should a player go all in, lose and not wish to re-buy, they will no longer take part in that qualifying round
  1. All participants must agree to their name in some format (can be a nickname) being displayed on the league tables in the clubs
  2. Players can play this tournament in more than one of the London Grosvenor clubs – each club taking part will be sending their own top 3 point scorers and their top 3 accumulated scorers to the finals night. 6 players will be going forward from each club to the finals night. Plus 6 qualifying players from grosvenorcasinos.com. See section (b) for qualifying criteria
  3. Should any player feature in the top 3 in more than one club or both in club and online, they will go through to the finals night as a qualifier for the club where they hold their highest score. This takes priority over any seat qualified for online. They will only qualify for one seat in the semi-final regardless of how many clubs they play in or if also qualified online. Their qualifying place in any of the other clubs or online will go to the person with the next chip score directly below them
  1. The top scores board will take precedence over the cumulative league board and any customer who is in the top 3 highest scores in a club will go through in that way even if they are accumulating a higher score on the league board
  2. It is the players responsibility to ensure correct contact details are provided in the event that the club needs to contact to arrange a tie-break, inform of qualification or offer wild card places
  3. If a player has informed us they are unable to attend the final we will attempt to fill the seat with the next highest chip score from the club that player represents. If we are unable to fill the seat by midnight on 12th May the place will be forfeited and the seat will not be filled.
  1. The player with the daily highest chip total per club on each night of the qualifying rounds will receive £250 in Play Points / or VIP chip for clubs without Play Points, this is to be given out in non-negotiables only.
  1. Grosvenor Casinos reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of this tournament and to cancel all or part of this tournament at any stage
  2. By entering this tournament, you are agreeing to the Promoter using your name/nickname in marketing material to promote the event and leader board. Also, after the tournament to publicise the winners using media and social media. Photography will also be requested.

 

(b) How to qualify online at www.grosvenorcasinos.com

 

 

  1. Any customers registered on www.grosvenorcasinos.com will be eligible to take part in this promotion.
  2. The promotional period for this promotion is Tuesday 21st April to Thursday 7th May 2015 (inclusive) between 00:01 and 23:59.
  3. During the above promotional period, customers need to have opted into the promotion and play Live Blackjack on grosvenorcasinos.com to have a chance to win one of the 6 places to the Finals at Grosvenor Casino The Victoria in London on the 13th May 2015.
  4. The qualifying criteria for the 6 players is as follows:

– 3 seats will be awarded to the three highest accumulated stakes during the promotional period

– 3 seats will be awarded to the three customers who have played the most hands during the promotional period

  1. There is also a daily prize of £250 for the customer who has staked the most on Live Blackjack between 00:01 and 23:59 each day during the promotional period. £250 credit will be awarded within 48 hours.
  2. The 6 winners will also receive £200 credit to their online accounts as a gesture of goodwill towards their travel costs for their trip to the London finals. It is the customer’s responsibility to make and pay for any travel arrangements and associated expenses.
  3. Currency equivalent is £1/€1.
  4. Play on ‘free to play’ games does not contribute to eligibility for this offer.
  5. Qualifying winners will be selected and contacted by telephone on the 8th May 2015 and will have a maximum of 48 hours to respond and confirm they are able to attend the finals event. If we are unable to contact a winner within 48 hours their place is forfeited and the next qualifying player will be contacted, this process will continue until we have the 6 confirmed finalists. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure contact details are up to date. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for not being able to contact winners and the Promoters decision is final.
  6. Winners will be required to register at The Victoria casino to take part in the final event, ID will be required.
  7. This promotion does not work in conjunction with any other cash back, match deposit, stake race or tournament promotion that might be available at grosvenorcasinos.com at the same time. Should 2 or more promotions run at the same time, customers will have to fulfil the necessary requirement separately to take advantage of the additional promotion(s).
  8. Any abuse of this offer may lead to all bonus funds being withdrawn.
  9. Entry will be forfeited if players are found to have multiple accounts.
  10. Players, whose accounts have closed, suspended or are found to have multiple accounts when a promotion has ended will have their entry forfeited.
  11. Players have 30 days from the date the bonus is added to accounts to play the bonus before the bonus expires.
  12. In the event of any dispute the decision of the Promoter will be final.
  13. The offer can be withdrawn immediately and any subsequent winnings can be withdrawn.

(c) Quarter-Finals to be held on Finals Night at the Grosvenor Victoria Casino – 54 players – 6 tables (6 per club and 6 from grosvenorcasinos.com)

 

  1. The seating arrangements will be determined via random draw on arrival at the Finals Night. Button will start at seat 1
  2. All tournament chips are to be kept in full view of all players at all times
  3. All decisions made by the Promoter are final
  1. The format for the quarter-final round will be as follows – 1000 points given to each player, 18 hands to be played, players must play every hand if they have points left. First box position moving after each hand
  2. Bets are placed in turn, starting from the button, once placed they cannot be changed
  3. The minimum bet is 50 points – there is no restriction on the maximum bet
  4. No coaching from any spectators is allowed.
  5. Any player going all in and losing will take no further part in the competition – there is no option to re-buy at this stage of the tournament
  1. Top 3 point scores, after the completion of the 18 hands, from each of the 6 tables will go through to the semi-final tables
  2. In the event of a tie then a tie break hand will be played to determine the player who proceeds to the final
  3. Any qualifying player who fails to arrive by 8pm for the start of the quarter-finals will forfeit their seat and any further chance to take part in the tournament

 

 

(d) Semi-Finals – to be held on Finals Night in the Grosvenor Victoria Casino – 18 players – 2 tables

 

  1. The seating arrangements will be determined via random draw. Button will start at seat 1
  2. All tournament chips are to be kept in full view of all players at all times
  3. All decisions made by the Promoter are final.
  1. The semi-final round will be the same format as the quarter-finals with 18 hands and 1000 points, with first box position moving after each hand
  2. Bets are placed in turn, starting from the button, once placed they cannot be changed
  3. The minimum bet is 50 points – there is no restriction on the maximum bet
  4. No coaching from any spectators is allowed.
  5. Any player going all in and losing will take no further part in the competition – there is no option to re-buy at this stage of the tournament
  1. Top 4 point scores, after the completion of the 18 hands, from each of the 2 tables will go through to the final table
  2. In the event of a tie then a tie break hand will be played to determine the player who proceeds to the final
  3. Any qualifying player who fails to arrive for the start of the semi-finals will forfeit their seat and any further chance to take part in the tournament

 

 

(e) Final Table – 8 players

 

  1. Seating order determined by point total on leader board – button starts at seat 1
  2. Bets are placed in turn, starting from the button, once placed they cannot be changed
  3. Starting points are 2500 for each finalist – minimum bet is 100 points, there is no maximum bet
  4. Players without enough chips to cover the minimum bet will be considered all in with the amount of chips that they have left and will only win equal to that amount under normal Blackjack rules
  5. Should two players go all in on the same hand and both get knocked out; the player with the highest number of chips at the start of that hand will be deemed the higher placing of the two and will receive the prize money for the higher finish. In the event that each player has equal chips at the start of the hand the prize money for the two places will be split equally between them
  6. This round will consist of 24 hands – each player will have the button a minimum of 3 times, dependant on any early knock outs.
  7. In the event of a tie at any position there will be tie break hand to establish position
  8. The Promoter accepts no involvement for deals made between players on the final table. All hands must be played to conclusion and the final 8 winners to be placed accordingly.
  9. Finals start at 7.30pm
  10. Should the guaranteed 1st prize of £50,000 not be reached via the qualifying rounds, the Promoters will fund the deficit.
  11. Prize breakdown is as follows:
  • 1st prize £50,000 guaranteed
  • 2nd Prize 50% of remaining pool (min £5,000 guaranteed)
  • 3rd 20% (min £2,500 guaranteed)
  • 4th 15% ( min £1,500 guaranteed)
  • 5th 10% (min £750 minimum guaranteed)
  • 6th 5% (min £500 minimum guaranteed)
  • 7th Champagne dinner for 2 at The Victoria Casino plus £400 Golden Cheque
  • 8th Bottle of Champagne, plus £200 Golden Cheque
